Privacy policy.

Plain English. No dark patterns. We collect the minimum needed to tell you when TryEat launches, and we delete it when we're done.

Who's responsible

The controller of personal data on this site is TryEat OÜ (legal entity, jurisdiction: Armenia, in registration). Contact for any data request: xettss@gmail.com.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist:

We do not use cookies on this page. We do not run Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other identity tracker.

Why we collect it (legal basis)

Your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), given when you submit the waitlist form. The purpose is strictly limited to: (1) telling you when TryEat opens, (2) preventing form abuse, (3) understanding which referral source works.

How long we keep it

Until the app launches publicly, plus 12 months after that — to send you the launch email and a single follow-up. Then your record is permanently deleted from our database. You can ask for deletion at any time before that.

Who else sees it

Our infrastructure provider — Google Cloud / Firebase (Google Ireland Ltd., EU). They host the database and run the form endpoint. They process data on our instructions only and are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. Nobody else.

We do not sell, rent, or share your email with marketing networks.

Your rights under GDPR

You have the right to:

Send any request to xettss@gmail.com. We respond within 7 days.

Children

TryEat is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If we learn we did, we delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy in a material way, we will email everyone on the waitlist before the change takes effect.
